  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and then click "Clear Log"
  • Try opening a few new windows that should get titlebar buttons and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Reference encoder/decoder is libjxl in C++, and decoder jxl-rs in Rust.
It is royalty-free, a free and open standard.

Awareness and usage of it is about to increase in a big way, as support will be enabled by default in Firefox and Chromium within a month. And it is already supported by a wide variety of image-related programs such as Photoshop and Krita etc, and has been announced to be included in the PDF spec in the future.

I checked that the icons are activated in the "Functions" settings menu.
I checked that "TitleBar Buttons: Don't Hide for Top-Tab Web Browsers" is activated (but anyway the problem appears on all windows, not only browsers)

I'm using version 12.1.1 on Windows 11 25H2 (26200.9457). I tried with version 12.1.2 beta 1 but it doesn't solve the problem
I also uninstalled DisplayFusion and reinstalled it, with no success.

Could somebody help?

  • Advanced example: "Monitor at x=90%, y=90%" would choose a top (in case of DF monitor intersection; top means having bigger number: 2.6 is on top of 2.4) DF monitor with a point (90% actual screen width; 90% of actual screen height) translating into (3456;1782) for UHD screen. In this example percentages must be editable by user.
